I failed…

Crossroads has been on my list for forever so when I decided to jump on the 12 Recommended challenge and @ka recommend it, I was pumped.

It ticks a lot of my boxes Family saga Switching perspectives Character-focused Marriage

I had gotten about halfway (11 hours on audio) and I called it. I kept saying one storyline has to grab me…but none of them did. I didn’t care about any of these people, and don’t get me wrong, I don’t have to love all of my characters to connect/empathize with them but this family just wasn’t for me.

Because it was the first book from the challenge I was super bummed to DNF it but I’ve talked to Kate alrea and she was super sweet about it and reminded me why this space is such a gift

Next book up for the challenge: The Unseen World recommended by @ka who happens to be rereading it with me!
